Caring for your mind is an act of strength it helps you show up for life with clarity, purpose, and peace

About Sally Scott Psychology

With twenty years of experience as a psychologist, I have dedicated my career to helping people overcome challenges, build resilience, and find greater balance in their lives. I provide a compassionate and professional space where clients can explore their concerns and work toward meaningful change.

My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, tailored to suit each person’s individual needs. Over the years, I have supported a wide range of clients, including defence personnel, veterans, and civilians experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, psychiatric illness, and work-related stress.

At the heart of my practice is a belief that everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and rediscover purpose — sometimes, it just takes the right support and understanding to get there.

Therapy

Therapy at Sally Scott Psychology takes place in a comfortable, calm, and confidential setting, designed to help you feel safe and at ease while we work together on the issues that matter most to you. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or other life challenges, each session is focused on understanding your experiences and finding practical, evidence-based ways to create positive change.

The process

Your first appointment will be an initial intake session, where we will take time to discuss your background, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve from therapy. Depending on the complexity of your situation, this intake process may take one or two sessions. This helps ensure that your treatment is well-tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Session length

  • Standard therapy sessions run for 50 minutes.

  • Extended sessions (90 minutes) are available when more time is needed for complex or intensive work.

I offer therapy that is collaborative, respectful, and paced to suit you. My role is to provide professional guidance and support while helping you develop the tools and understanding needed to move forward with confidence.
